Oaklands Golf Club is a 6089 yard course that is challenging enough to satisfy the best golfers in the game and yet practical enough that the casual enthusiasts need not plan a two day stay to complete the full 18 holes
Many of the fairways at Oaklands are on the narrow side and water comes into play on a few holes. The most challenging hole is the 195 yard par three 2nd. Driving from an elevated tee with out of bounds to the right, you’ll want to lay up but not in the low lying, sometimes water filled depression in front of the green protected by a sand bunker that spans 80% of the front portion of the green along with trees lining each side of the approach to this small elevated green.
