Connecticut, also known as the nutmeg state, is a southern state that has its fair share of venues that offer indoor golf. The state is known for having a number of great outdoor courses, but as every one knows there are rainy days when you just need to scratch that golfing itch. So in the event that you need to find a virtual or indoor golf option near you, we have done some research for you and found all of the facilities in the state.
Indoor and Virtual Golf Facilities in Connecticut
Fore Seasons offers golf simulators that feature numerous courses. They are used to develop technique and style. Eighteen holes cost $20 per person, nine holes $10. You’re also able to book private lessons with PGA golf pro Dale G. Humphrey. The club also offers season passes for adults, seniors, families (two people) and students.
Fore Seasons Golf Club is open from November to April. However, the simulators can be reserved as early as 8:30 am all year round. The times are different with every month.

Since 1982 Prospect Golf has been serving golf players be it for fun or to learn. They offer a driving range, simulation golf, mini-golf and a well-stocked pro shop. They even have a golf school in case you want to take your game further.

GOLFTEC is another great franchise with multiple locations scattered all around the U.S. Their West Hartford branch follows the same great standards set by this group and it shows. They have professional coaches on hand if you need or you can practice or play at your own leisure.

Indian Hill is the best of both worlds! They offer not only a beautiful eighteen hole golf course but also simulation golf for technique improvement. Their simulator, however, is only open to the public December and January and to Pass holders only. Cost is $100 for the Winter Season Pass. February first extended times for the simulator are announced. Indian Hill also offers a world-class dining experience with Café Louise which also does weddings, private events and outside catering.

Indian Hill Country Club 111 Golf Street Newington,
Offering fast, state of the art and accurate simulators, Oakwood is another virtual golf venue in Connecticut. In order to use the equipment, you need to use their online booking page which will let you select between a widescreen or curve simulation. Oakwood also offers beers while you play and during football season they have the game playing all over the venue so you can enjoy some golf and football simultaneously. Their rates as most place are per hour and during the week it starts off at $40 (17-foot widescreen) and on weekends/public holidays $45 (also 17-foot widescreen). The prices do change with season and specials are sometimes in effect.

Great Brook Sports is a multipurpose venue that offers not only simulation golf but also a driving range, eighteen hole miniature golf and batting cages. The simulator is $20 an hour for the driving range simulation and $30 an hour. They have two simulators that can cater to four players at once. They offer golf lessons 30 minutes is $25 and 1 hour is $50. They also have a pro shop where you can get your clubs re-gripped, repaired and more. They also sell merchandise and equipment.
